change of season
Wow time is flying by.
It's nearly May already. We have had the Air show and it was marvellous as usual, the vineyards and restaurants and accommodation providers were very busy, and easter holiday and school holidays added another dimension.
Our new systems are working well, it is fun having new and interesting people around. This week Andrei has arrived to help us. He is experienced in hospitality, and is also an experienced massage therapist. Which means that his skills will be available to guests if they require it. Check his web site www.eventmassage.co.nz nice if you've had a wine tour by bike or done a lot of walking. Bridget and Olivia are our housekeepers and keep the house looking spic and span.
Blenheim is looking beautiful at the moment with all the autumn leaves in gardens and vineyards making a colourful display.
The vintage is over and the reports for the wines are excellent, good news for future purchases. There have been some very social groups here, enjoying the local food and wines. We look forward to the winter, as people are enthusiastic about wine tours and cosy wintery lunches and there are lots of conferences and events at that time.
The fun will continue at Henry Maxwell's, we look forward to meeting you soon.
