Lonely Planets

Hi every-one, well it's the beginning of a new, wonderful exciting year, and we certainly are anticipating a great one, we have a little bit of light travelling planned, but will leave the big one until next year.
We are having a great time here with out guests, as usual coming from a wide range of countries, and some pretty interesting kiwis as well enjoying the summer holidays. This is the real fun part.
We were very excited and felt very priviliged to be included in the world renown Lonely Planets guide. This is special to us, because we use this ourselves for all our travelling and find it an invaluable tool, for finding accommadation, great places to eat, not to mention the fact that the books are packed with vital information.
Guests have enjoyed the garden, it is great to see people relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine. It has been particularly good for family groups, as they can virtually take over the guest part of the house, cook, eat in the dining room and spread out around the house. The children have loved the space too.
We also had a wedding couple here, and the next day after the wedding the guests enjoyed a champagne picnic in the garden.
